Burapha University has developed from Bangsaen College of Education, where is the first regional university in Thailand. It was established on 8 July 1955. Subsequently, it was elevated to the status of Sri Nakharinwirot University, Bangsaen Campus on 29 June 1974; elevated to the status of Burapha University on 29 July 1990 and to be autonomous university on 9 January 2008.
Currently, Burapha University is the comprehensive university where provides Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Doctoral Degree in various areas: Health Sciences, Science and Technology and Humanity and Social Sciences. Burapha University has 27 faculties and also has 44 institutions, centers and Piboonbumpen Demonstration School Burapha University. There are more 48,000 students studying in our university.
Burapha University is a leading university with a primary mission to produce high quality graduates who possess leadership to serve industry and service; have the capability to work with integrity and ethics, promote interdisciplinary research to generate knowledge aligned with societal needs, and aspire to become a research university. Additionally, Burapha University provides academic services and technology transfer to society in order to foster a knowledgeable and self-reliant community for improving the quality of life and the environment, and also raising awareness of the value of arts, culture, and natural resources for sustainable development.
